As part of the ST Group of Companies, 1st 4 Biofuel Limited was originally set up to support Simmonds Transport.  As a transport provider, Simmonds Transport were looking for a way to be kinder to the environment, and Biofuel was the perfect solution. 

Extensive tests were carried out on the eco friendly fuel and the companies’ fleet of vehicles over a significant period of time and today the entire fleet of Simmonds Transport vehicles run on Bio Diesel which is sourced by 1st 4 Biofuel Ltd.  In addition to this, the company also collects waste cooking oil from local businesses, this is then used in the production process of Biofuel; they also sell Biofuel to other companies wanting to improve their carbon footprint. 

Since the company was established, 3 years ago, they have grown steadily and have now diversified into the supply of wood pellets and wood briquettes, which again offer a ‘greener’ fuel alternative.
