Biofuel is an eco-friendly fuel.  It is a renewable energy source and so it is not damaging to the environment like traditional fuel.  It is produced from vegetable oils, recycled cooking oils and animal fats. 

The fuel is supplied in one of two variations; B50 and B100, where the number represents percentage of bio against diesel, different factors can influence the variation that should be used and we can recommend on these.  We can also advise on recommended alterations to maintenance schedules as a result of our extensive 2 year testing period with Simmonds Transport, detailed below.

Simmonds Transport & their associated company STA Vehicle Centre ran a project to see what the affects were to a mixed fleet of commercial vehicles. The outcome of this 2yr testing proved that when running on the 2 mixtures above at the set schedules there were no failures or breakdowns. The whole of their fleet has successfully been running for 2 and a half years.
